£10m+ won every month by players at mFortune mobile Casino

Mobile Casino gambling is booming! The latest figures reveal that mFortune players won an astonishing £10m+ in the last 30 days and it won’t be too long before the £15m a month mark is smashed. But how is this being won? Is it pure luck, strategy, or a bit of both? In this article, we examine the game of roulette and some of the most popular roulette systems used by mobile roulette players.

roulette systems
Roulette is pretty straightforward; 37 numbers- spin the wheel and simply pick the number the ball will land in on the roulette wheel. Aside from a single number, you may also place bets a range of other outside table options, i.e. colour, high or low, odd or even etc. Simple stuff you may agree? Seasoned players may disagree! Roulette is a haven for systems and strategies with players seeking to get that upper edge; every system has its unique traits and exciting components of luck, or ‘ability and method’ as system players may argue.

Roulette System – Progression Probability Betting

Overview- Increasing bets proportionately after a series of results.
Method- Place 1 chip on red and 1 chip on black and record the numbers of 5 results. Players are looking for section patterns of where the ball lands. Excluding zero, the ball can only land in one of the following sections: 1-12, 13-24, 25-36. When a section goes without 1 hit in 5 results, a player then starts this Progression Probability Betting by increasing their stake each time until the section they are betting on takes a hit. For example, if the results were 1, 6, 12, 13, 22, a player then starts betting on section 25-36, increasing their bet proportionately to make a profit and cover the previous bet until the result hits the 25-36 section. The logic behind this system is historical probability and the notion- “it hasn’t come out in 5 results so it must be due”. One the one hand, there is strong mathematical logic in this roulette system, if you consider a set of historical results. However, each spin is unique and probability does not account for historical or past results when the roulette ball is spun. Hence, every single time the ball is spun; it has exactly a 12/37, or roughly a 1 in 3 chance of hitting the 25-36 section.

mFortune view:

mfortune roulette
For- It’s a very popular system which attracts a lot of loyal supporters.

Against- The odds of the roulette ball hitting one section are exactly the same on every spin, regardless if the previous 100 results did not hit one particular section of the wheel. The roulette wheel has no memory.

Roulette System – Sleeping Martingale

Overview- Doubling your last bet until the player hits the result.
Method- A player typically plays both red and black until a number of results appear in sequences that are the same colour. This could be as little as 1 result, or perhaps more likely to be 3-5 reds ‘in a row’- i.e. the last 5 roulette wheel results – red, red, red, red, red. The player then places a bet on the opposite colour (black in this example) and continues doubling their bet until the black number is drawn. For example, if a player loses, they double their bet. If the player loses again, they again double their bet. The player continues to do this until they win and then go back to their original bet. The sleeping martingale roulette system has been used by players for years and generally players can and do win when playing this system. However, this roulette system does have its limitations and is not for the faint hearted. Imagine betting for the 6th or 10th time in the sequence? Players usually need to have, or be prepared to have a high bankroll for the sleeping martingale system to work. Again, similar to the above progression probability betting system, the Sleeping Martingale system is based on probability and maths logic, but is a much steeper scale of betting. The odds of a red or black coming out remain exactly the same odds each and every spin and anomalies can occur.

mFortune view:
For- It is one of the most played systems which attracts a lot of high rollers
Against- It is not for the faint hearted! Huge wins (and losses) can be won or lost very quickly by players using this system.

Roulette System- D’Alembert Systemroulette table

Overview: A pyramid roulette system for the patient player. The roulette pyramid system is another system pinned on arguably more gambling psychology than mathematical logic. The logic underpinning the system is that if you win on 1 roulette spin, you are less likely to win on the next and should therefore reduce your bets to avoid losing as much money. On the same rule of thumb, a player should increase their bet after a losing spin, on the logic they are more likely to win as they have had a losing spin. The d’Alembert system follows scientific theory that “nature seeks equilibrium”.
Similar to the martingale, the D’Alembert System is usually applied using outside table on even money sections. This is preferred by some players to the martingale as it has a less aggressive betting scale if a losing bet is drawn. The system and betting pattern is very simple. After each loss, the bet is increased by 1 unit and after a win, the bet is then decreased by 1 unit. For example, a player starts with 20p on red, if the result is black; the player then increases to 30p, 40p, 50p and so on. If the player then wins at 50p stake, the bet is reduced back to 40p and the sequence continues.

mFortune view:
For- This system suits players who prefer not to upscale rapidly like the martingale system. The D’Alembert System is designed to protect a player’s bankroll.
Against- It is arguable that this system is mathematically flawed. The maths logic behind roulette from a theoretical perspective is that from 100 spins, red will be drawn 47.37% of the time and black will be drawn 47.37% of the time. Therefore, if red and black accumulates to equal 94.74% (47.37% x 2) of the total spins, then what happens the other 5.26% of the time? That 5.26% is the house edge, created by the green ’0′ as the D’Alembert system focuses on the outside of the table. The D’Alembert System does also rely on a player building up a winning sequence, i.e. more winning spins than losing spins at the right time.

Roulette System- Revell Roulette System

Overview: Use all your bankroll on an outside bet
The Revell Roulette system is based on one of the most famous roulette winning stories of all time. Ashley Revell sold everything he owned, travelled to vegas and put his entire life savings of $136,000 on 1 colour- red. Lucky for him and all the spectators, the roulette wheel spun red 7 and he doubled his money.
mFortune view:

For- The roulette wheel has no memory. The odds of hitting an outside number are exactly the same each and every spin. If you feel lucky, you could pick 1 colour, or even 1 number for a huge win.

Against- It’s definitely not a tactic for the faint hearted.

Mobile Casinos look set to overtake online casinos within 5 Years!

Category: Mobile Casino News — admin @ 1:34 pm

An industry Perspective

It is official; mobile phone casinos are fast becoming the choice of casino players in comparison to online casinos! After many promised years of industry hype and ambitious forecasts, 2011 is the year which has seen the mobile casino boom finally delivered! Recent industry research confirms that there has been a huge rise in players that are now choosing to use mobile casinos because of their accessibility, playability and huge rise in popularity. For many years however, this simply hasn’t been the case. Mobile casinos, which fall within the mobile gambling category, had repeatedly proved to be a disappointing and a costly false dawn despite repeatedly been regarded as the next ‘big thing’ of the gambling industry. Nevertheless, the years of waiting seem to be over and on the back of some impressive results in 2011, it is clear that the mobile casino boom has finally arrived with a bang.

When assessing the size and scope of the strategic landscape for mobile casinos and mobile gambling, there are several forecasted projections available from authoritative research houses. Most notably, figures presented by Jupiter research group, although perhaps somewhat ambitiously, forecast that the mobile gambling industry could reach worldwide revenues of $48billion by 2015. That said however, these projections are based on a number of assumptions which are considered speculative by the general consensus within the mobile gambling industry; for example, the opening market of the Chinese market. The truth is that nobody can exactly pinpoint with any degree of precise accuracy just how far this exciting mobile gambling industry will reach.

Accessibility factors – mobile casinos vs. online casinos

Based on several casino player studies, mobile casinos hold several distinct and attractive advantages over online casinos when considering accessibility factors. According to the Office of National Statistics, there are a significantly higher proportion of mobile phone owners compared to desktop or laptop computers. Furthermore, when analysing the usage of mobile phones compared to personal computers or laptops, there is again an interesting bias which suggests a mobile phone is usually significantly more accessible and within easy reach from the user at all times, whereas a personal computer or laptop is far less likely to enjoy the same accessibility.

There are also technological aspects to consider. The nature of a mobile phone allows the user to be playing mobile casino games within seconds, compared to that of a sometimes arduous process that may be taken when accessing an online casino. For instance, it could take several minutes to start up a computer, load up the internet and security software, and then login to the casino service provider. In a recent casino player study, the ability to access and play mobile casino games within 20 seconds on a mobile phone was deemed as a positive and significant motivating factor for players.

There is also an additional and interesting area when considering mobile casinos vs. online casinos, which is that of internet access. According to recent studies, mobile internet has opened up a vast new market altogether, introducing individuals to the internet for the first time. Although not applicable for the vast majority, for a large section of certain markets, there remains a certain stigma attached to using as computer, being computer literate, and also internet transaction phobia. However, with the increase in accessibility of mobile phones and in particular the access of mobile internet and social networking sites, a mobile phone has subtlety transmigrated previously inaccessible consumers, to accessible and loyal mobile casino players. It is questionable whether a personal computer or laptop could truly complete this same feat.

A Player perspective

It’s a traditional adage and no secret that players are at the heart of any business; mobile casinos are no exception. According to several casino player studies, there are a number of key factors that are driving the mobile casino boom. A principal driving factor identified is the ability to play a mobile casino anytime, anywhere; the ability to login and play casino games within 20 seconds; and the game play, graphics and player experience are now on par, if not superior to an online casinos offering. When these 3 factors are added together, it is easy to understand why the proposition of a mobile casino is becoming far more attractive to players. It is also easy to understand why mobile casinos in the near future, look set to overtake their counterpart, the online platform.

2010 Saw a Booming Business in Casino Games Apps

Category: Mobile Casino News — admin @ 1:19 pm

Distimo, an analytics firm, has come out with the results of their new study for 2010 regarding apps sales for mobile phones. Their research showed that there was an overwhelming growth boom in the apps that were downloaded free or purchased for use with mobile phone casino games. The casino apps accounted for the hugest number of apps for iPhone games.

Of the top 300 apps that are available from the Apple iTunes site it goes without saying that the majority of apps are the free type. In fact approximately 3 million free downloads per day are logged, while paid apps number about 350,000 apps per day.

Mobile phone casino apps saw an increase of nearly 664% on Android but the Apple leader was more along the lines of new business apps. The leader of all was comics at 802%. Perhaps the reason for the disparity between Android and Apple casino apps is the refusal of Apple to allow for gambling with real money in their operating system and app store.

There is a great deal of revenue being generated by Apple apps within the apps themselves. The platform is indeed perfect for the support of an iPhone casino. Apple’s app store actually doubled in size in 2010, topping 300,000 new apps. Free apps are still the leaders by far in all smart phone arenas, but the potential for earned revenue due to purchases made as a result of in-app advertising is great.

Apple Overtakes Blackberry Mobile Gaming

Category: Mobile Casino News — admin @ 11:35 am

American pollsters have discovered recently that Apple product; the iPhone has now surpassed the Blackberry as the smart phone of choice. Where gaming is concerned, this caused a shift in resources and development with mobile gambling companies to focus more closely on Apple products.

Software being developed for mobile phone casino play on Blackberries will be toned down a bit and the efforts will be stepped up to create new and better games and applications for mobile gambling on iPhones, iPads, and the iTouch.  iPhone casinos can expect to be moving forward at this point.

Dr. Michael Cusumano, who is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology distinguished management professor, says that “manufacturers often join with competitors to build OS software; both Hewlett-Packard and IBM contributed to the development of Linux.” This, he believes, will make it a worthwhile effort for manufacturers that compete in the mobile phone casino platforms to work together and collaborate with each other to exchange valuable information. That could create a faster development of the newer generation iPhone casinos.

The gambling industry online at this time is generating more than 50 billion dollars of revenue annually. It is expected that mobile gambling, once it catches on and is allowed, will be capable of generating nearly as much by 2015. The word has it that there is discussion and exploration taking place at this time between manufacturers and mobile technology companies and the state lotteries. The Nielsen ratings have been monitoring mobile phone activity ratings and casino software gurus are following them closely.

Gambling Addicts Get iPhone Casino Help

Category: Gambling News,Mobile Casino News — admin @ 5:04 pm

‘Promises’, a treatment centre for addicts made famous for treating Robert Downey Jr, Lindsay Lohan, Ben Affleck and a host of other celebrities, has proven that no one – not even the most fortunate of individuals – is immune from addiction. Gamblers in particular are one group of people who have experienced a loss of control, when faced with the prospect of winning big.

The iPhone has a new app designed specifically for addictive situations. It’s called iPromise, and provides a relatively permanent solution to an addict’s gambling impulses. In a rehab facility the addict has no access to their addictions, but upon returning home there are a number of temptations to face. Using the newly developed app, users can use the software as an aid to helping them get through their everyday lives once they leave the rehab facility.

IPhone casino gamblers will someday, possibly soon, be able to download the app and use it to aid them in their road to controlling addiction. The app contains a list of contacts for the addict, allowing them to get in touch with sponsors, friends and other people who are instrumental in their own personal fight against addiction. Mobile phone casino gamblers will also be able to track achievements and milestones along the way.

Positive feedback, easy communication and solutions to addiction will no doubt be a helpful tool to those who have developed a gambling problem.
