What Are Wagering Requirements?

“Wagering requirements” is a term that refers to the amount of times a bonus needs to be played through before any associated winnings can be withdrawn.

Wagering requirements are never a set monetary figure. Instead, they will be a multiplier of the bonus amount received. This multiplier is set by the casino. In this case, mFortune’s wagering requirement is 20x, which is only applied to free bonuses and winnings from free spins.

When Can I Withdraw If There Are Wagering Requirements?

Your account balance will be in two parts – your cashable credit, and bonus credit. Cashable credit refers to funds that you can withdraw, whether this is your deposit or funds that have passed the wagering requirements.

Bonus credit is a term for funds that cannot be withdrawn until wagering requirements have been met. These funds consist of the credit that has not yet had the wagering requirements met.

Cashable Credit

Bonus Credit
This is credit that can be withdrawn at any time. This will either be where you see your deposit, or where funds that have completed wagering have gone. You can’t withdraw this quite yet. This consists of the free bonuses we’ve given you, or funds won from free spins. This bonus credit amount is subject to a 20x wagering requirement.

To move your bonus credit over to your cashable credit, all you have to do is complete the 20x wagering requirement by playing our fantastic games! Once you’ve met the wagering requirements, any remaining winnings will automatically move to your cashable credit. You can now request your withdrawal!

Let’s Take A Look At An Example…

Say you’ve made a £10 deposit and received a 100% first deposit match worth another £10. The £10 deposit goes immediately into your cashable credit, which means that this deposit and any associated winnings can be withdrawn whenever you like. The £10 you receive as a deposit match bonus goes into bonus credit, and is subject to the 20x wagering requirement.

£10£10£200You deposited £10 and got another £10 as a deposit match bonus. Your deposit goes into cashable credit, while the deposit match becomes bonus credit, with a wagering requirement of 20x.

So what if you then go on to win £200 with that £10 deposit you made? Of course, because it’s in your cashable credit, you’re free to withdraw it. However, be aware that as your £10 deposit match bonus hasn’t yet passed its wagering requirements, this bonus credit amount would be forfeited.

£200£10£200You’ve won £200 from your original £10 deposit.
£0£0£0You’ve withdrawn the £200 cashable credit. Because the bonus credit wagering hadn’t been met yet, the bonus amount of £10 is forfeited and bonus credit returns to £0.

Maybe you decide to withdraw only half of your £200 winnings instead. If so, the same proportion (50% in this case) of the bonus credit would also be removed. So whichever percentage of your total cashable credit you decided to withdraw BEFORE bonus wagering is met, the same percentage will be forfeited from your bonus credit.

The bonus credit that has been forfeited remains attached to the funds you’ve withdrawn, so if you choose to reverse that withdrawal at any point, the forfeited bonus credit will be reinstated on your account.

£200£10£200You reversed your withdrawal, so the £100 withdrawal has returned to your cashable credit. At the same time the £5 that had been removed from your bonus credit has been returned to your account.

What Wagering Requirements Apply To Free Spins?

Winnings generated by free spins that are given as a bonus will have a wagering requirement of 20x. This is different from free spins won within the game.

For example, if you’re given 10 free spins, and win £10, this will have to be multiplied by 20 to determine your wagering requirement. This would mean you need to wager £200 before being able to withdraw.

Which Bets Count Towards My Wagering Requirement?

Depending on the mobile casino game you’re playing, you’ll find your bet counts different amounts against the wagering requirements.

For example, when playing slots, 100% of your bet will be taken off your wagering requirements. i.e.: if you bet £1, £1 will be taken off the total wagering amount. However, on Bingo, you’ll get 500% of your bet removed from the wagering amount left – i.e.: spend £1, have £5 removed off your wagering requirements.

Roulette, Blackjack and Poker work a bit differently however, as 10% of your bet will be removed from the total wagering requirements – so spending £1 will have 10p removed from the amount left to complete wagering.

The minimum stake on Roulette, Poker or Blackjack games that will contribute to the Wagering is £0.10.
